Learn Songs by Ear — the guided program
Go from “I could never do that” to sitting down and working out a song you love — by ear.
This is the transformation tier. Instead of handing you a pile of material and wishing you luck, I guide you the whole way: a small, focused practice task each day, personal feedback on what you play, and a real teacher in your corner over email. Most people get there in around three months of steady, guided practice.
The transformation
Where you start:
- You rely on sheet music or chord sheets to play anything.
- Figuring out a song by ear feels like a “talent” you weren’t born with.
Where you’ll be:
- You can hear a melody and find it on the piano — then add the chords underneath.
- You can sit down and play songs you love, without a single page of notation.
How the guidance works
- Daily assignments. Each day a short, focused practice task appears in your dashboard — so you always know exactly what to do next.
- Personal feedback. I review how you’re getting on and leave you feedback on your assignments, adjusting what comes next to fit you.
- A teacher in your corner. You’re in email contact with me throughout — when you’re stuck, you’re not stuck alone.
- Everything else, included. Full access to all the training tools and self-paced courses on the site, as part of your membership.
At your own pace
- No fixed dates or cohorts — start whenever you like and move at the pace that suits your life.
- No weekly group calls to attend. Instead of timetabled Q&A sessions, you get ongoing one-to-one feedback and email contact with me — help that fits around you.
- Just 15–30 minutes a day of guided practice is enough to keep moving forward.
You will need
- A piano or keyboard
- A computer
- Internet access
- A little time most days — and the willingness to be guided
